Falcons Alumni Game Ends in Tie |

The Sherwood A & S Scrap Metal Falcons of the IJHL held an Alumni game at the Cody Banks Arena on December 29th. The game featured the 2012-13 Falcons versus a team of alumni players. The game was dedicated to the founding fathers of the Falcons, namely Ozzie MacKinnon, Reg Newson, Keith Francis and Roger Meek.
In the above photo Craig Dougan, Falcons Captain takes the opening faceoff with Kyle Reardon representing the Alumni team. The puck is dropped by Becky Newson (daughter of the late founding director Reg Newson). Looking on are team founding directors from right Ozzie MacKinnon, Keith Francis and Eleanor Meek (wife of the late Roger Meek). The teams skated to a 5 - 5 tie.
