Quarter-Final (best-of-5): #4 Charlottetown Metro Building Supplies Abbies vs. #5 Western Red Wings
Season series: 5-5
Game #1 - Thu., Mar. 10th at 8:30 at Simmons

The Abbies started the season slow but picked it up mid-season after signing goaltender, Nelson MacAulay.   The league leader in assists, Steven Cassidy (53), will lead the offensive charge for the Abbies, who were also the most disciplined team in the league this year with just 472 penalty minutes.

Although they finished at the bottom of the standings, the Red Wings showed that they can contend with the best in the league on any given night which could make them dangerous in the post-season with 8 of their 21 points in the standings coming against first-place Kensington.

Semi-Final (best-of-7): #2 Sherwood A&S Scrap Metal Falcons vs. #3 Down East Auto & Marine Maniacs

Season series: 6-4 Sherwood
Game #1 - Wed., Mar. 16th at 8:00 at Cody Banks

The Falcons were the league's most potent offence this season, scoring a league-high 223 goals, partly because they also had the best power-play (23.8%). The one thing that kept them from first-place in the standings may have been their overtime/shootout record (0-5).

As hosts of the Don Johnson Cup, the Maniacs already have a shot at the Atlantic Junior B Championships but would love to take the league title as well. After an average start, the Maniacs were the top team in the second half, with a 14-5-1 record and appear to be peaking at the right time. They will have to reduce their penalty minutes however, since they were the most penalized (1467 PIM).

Semi-Final (best-of-7): #1 Kensington Moase Plumbing & Heating Vipers vs. Winner of Quarter-Final

Game #1 - Sat., Mar. 19th at 7:00 at Kensington
The Vipers led the standings from start to finish after kicking off the season with 13 straight wins.  Cameron Webster won the scoring title for the third straight season with 86 points.  Defensively, the Vipers were the strongest, allowing only 136 goals and boasting the league's top two goaltenders.
