Vipers Begin Quest to Repeat at Don Johnson

The puck will drop on the 2012 Don Johnson Cup Tuesday April 17th with a rematch of the SJJHL finals as the host Caps take on the Marks Work Warehouse Mt.Pearl Junior Blades.
 
The rest of the teams will arrive Tuesday evening and games will be played at 12:00, 3:30 and 7:30 for the remainder of the week, with the Host Caps playing the 7:30 game each evening.  The Semi Finals will be played on Saturday, April 21, with the championship game being played on Sunday, April 22nd.
 
Joining the Caps and Blades with be the East Hants Penguins (Nova Scotia), Kensington Vipers (PEI) and Moncton Vitos (New Brunswick).
 
The opening ceremonies will be Wednesday evening at 7:30 when the Junior Caps, in conjuction with the HNL Junior Council and special guests, honour the great Don Johnson and officially open the tournament. The opening ceremonies will be followed by a contest between the host Caps and the Moncton Vitos.
